The story:
Shay began suffering with epilepsy since the age of 18 months and following a week of rapidly increasing seizures, an emergency MRI showed that a brain malformation (cortical dysplasia or tumour) had been present since birth and so his brain had developed around it.
Now 6 years old, Shay is awaiting major brain surgery and his family are spending the short amount of time before the operation to create as many amazing memories as they can, as memory may be something that Shay loses after surgery.
Partyman’s Magic Makers were able to send the family to stay at the Bear Lodge at Port Lympne nature reserve where they were able to spend some quality time making family memories.
